What should I do when my profile is suspended ?

It's possible that after creating your Google page, your establishment may find itself suspended because it doesn't comply with the guidelines imposed by Google.

Here are the main reasons for the suspension of your Google page:

- First, ensure that the information on your Google page is accurate:

• The name of your business. It must be exactly the same as on your business license.
• Service areas (or the address if you have a physical location). Be careful not to exceed a 2-hour drive in your service areas.
• Website address.
• Opening hours.
• The main category and secondary categories.

• Also, be careful not to make too many changes at once on your Google page, as Google might suspect fraudulent activity and suspend your listing.

Here are the steps to follow if your Google page is suspended:

When your account is suspended, you need to fill out a form for Google.

This form is located in the main menu of your Google page.

1. Go to the menu of your Google page.
2. Click the 3 little dots next to "Your Business is not visible to customers."
3. Then, go to the "Help and Assistance" tab.
4. At the bottom of the page, select "Contact us."

Once on the form, the next steps are as follows:

Enter the name of your suspended business (1), then put the reason or the subject of your request (2). Here, mention that your business is suspended. And choose the best description for your problem (3).

The next step will suggest some links you can check regarding the suspension of your business. But if you want to submit a request to Google, click the "Next step" button.

The rest of the process:

1. Provide your first name, last name, and the official email address used to manage your Google business profile.
2. Then, provide your relationship with your business.
   

3. After filling in this information, you will need to provide your contact details and those of your business.

4. Your business profile ID is found in the profile settings (1) under the "Advanced Settings (2)" category. It is a 20-digit number (3).

5. Finally, you will need to explain why your Google profile should be reinstated by detailing the changes you have made (1).

You will then need to provide documents such as your business registration (2), where your business name and address appear to confirm the location of your business.

And a utility bill (3) with the same business name. Such as a gas, electricity, insurance, phone, or other bills.

Once all these documents are provided and your form is submitted, Google should respond within 3 to 4 business days.

Google will either approve or deny your request.

When your request is approved, your business will move to the verified status.
